The world-renowned Norland College, which produces nannies in demand by the rich and famous, opens its doors to Discovery Home & Health. A group of Norland students - including the first male - will discover what it takes to become a Norland nanny. Step into this prestigious institution and follow its student nannies both in and out of the classroom as they go through their rigorous three-year training in NANNY SCHOOL. Episodes of NANNY SCHOOL air every Friday at 1400 hrs (2:00 pm SIN/HK), starting January 2. Episodes encore on the same day at 1830 hrs (6:30 pm); Sunday at 1000 hrs (10:00 am) and 2200 hrs (10:00 pm).

Being a nanny is a labour of love that requires more than a liking for children. The Norland College's courses aim to impart extensive knowledge of childhood development theories, children's needs, and discipline methods. This is the challenge that all Norland nannies embrace - to combine a love of children with practical care. Norland College was founded in 1892 by Emily Ward, a progressive thinker who - against the general belief of her day - believed that children thrived on love and attention. She set up a school to train educated young ladies on how to care for children from upper class families. Nannies were taught to bring up children with love and understanding, a tradition that continues to this day.

Each episode of NANNY SCHOOL follows the Norland student nannies in the classroom and on practical assignments, as they attend lessons and apply them in real life. It also highlights the challenges faced by the College's first male student.
