DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH TEENAGE TANTRUMS AND TERRIBLE TYKES? TAKE HOME NANNY COMES TO THE RESCUE!

This month, Discovery Home & Health's TAKE HOME NANNY Emma Jenner brings a fresh new approach to raising children and maintaining family harmony (not to mention a little peace and quiet!). On this brand new series, Emma helps families with ill-disciplined kids and attempts to change their wayward habits with only a few days to instill their parenting philosophy before an important event. Find out if the TAKE HOME NANNY will succeed in straightening out the childrens' errant ways.

Emma Jenner is a child care specialist, nursery school teacher, and professional nanny. Each week on TAKE HOME NANNY, Emma works with families with out-of-control kids, using unique teaching tools and disciplinary actions tailored to suit each child. After observing the way the family interacts, Emma then quickly gets to work instilling her simple yet effective philosophy - be well mannered, be consistent and be patient - first with the parents and then with the kids.

With events ranging from family reunions to school field trips, Emma has her hands full as she works to ensure that these children are on their best behaviour in just a few short days. Following all the emotional hurdles leading up to the family's big event, Emma's magic will be put to the test - can the families maintain their newfound harmony or will they slip back into their dysfunctional ways?

TAKE HOME NANNY episode descriptions:

The Tsouos
Emma helps out the Tsouos and their pushy twins, Cooper and Dylan. Mum and Dad want the twins to go to a new school next year, but first they'll have to impress the teacher. Can Emma get the twins on track in time for dinner with the teacher?

The Bells
Emma has her hands full with the Bells' teenage daughter and two willful young boys. Will she help get control of the family in time for their turn at hosting the neighbourhood block party or will the party end up a bust?

The Hanneman-Scotts
Emma assists single mum Noelle with her two rambunctious boys. Mum wants them to take karate classes but they need to prove to the Sensei that they can behave first. Can Emma give Mum the tools to raise the boys on her own?

The Berks
With two devilish daughters and a workaholic husband glued to his computer, Mum is at her wits end. To make matters worse, the Berk girls have driven away all the local baby sitters with their bad behaviour, and Mom and Dad haven't had a night out in far too long. Can Emma help Mum get control of her two little terrors? And more importantly, can Emma get the Berks in shape in time to impress their last chance at a babysitter?

The McCarthys
With a ferry ride with the in-laws coming up, Mum and Dad are at their wit's end. The four little girls are ruling the roost, running away from Dad, and throwing terrible tantrums for Mum. With just four days until the approaching family ferry ride, it's up to Emma to get these girls under control?

The Virgas
It's high-volume action as Emma struggles to make herself heard over all the shouting. The Virga's two sons have been battling at home and at school, and they have one last chance to behave before being banned from field trips. It's sink or swim as Emma only has a few days get the boys under control before their big class trip to the aquarium.

The Gils
There's swearing and back talk - and that's just from Dad! It's monkey-see, monkey-do as the children follow dad's lead, hitting each other, yelling at their grandparents, and handling their baby sister carelessly. Can Emma get the Gil children - and Dad - on their best behaviour in time for their grandmother's big birthday dinner, or will it turn into a monumental disaster?

The Monteliones
With a family portrait coming up and the kids in chaos, the Monteliones need a hand.  The son is practicing extreme wrestling moves on his sisters, their oldest daughter is throwing fits, and no one is sleeping in their own bed.  Emma only has a few days to get the Monteliones rested, ready and on their best behaviour for a sit-down session with the family photographer.

The Tanjuctos
Follow Emma as she journeys to New Jersey to meet the Tanjuctos. Alex and Meg Tanjutco are overwhelmed by their terrible triplets and with a family reunion coming up, they're afraid of once again being judged by Meg's sister. From bedtime to baby gates, meals to misbehaviour, Emma teaches the Tanjuctos how to tame the out of control triplets and get their lives back. But will it be enough to impress Meg's sister at the family reunion?

The DiSomma-Faretras
This week, Emma shares with parenting philosophy with the DiSomma-Faretras. Mom Noelle has her hands full with three clingy little girls, and Dad Frank is no help.  It's up to Emma to get Dad on track and dealing with his little girls in time for Noelle to go to an overnight work retreat. Can Frank manage to get his girls fed and in bed or will Mum have to rush home to save the day?
