In this season, the fastest car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron is road tested; the Bowler Nemesis – the off-roader, designed to tackle the world’s toughest rallies - is reviewed. Also, the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazard and The Gran Torino from Starksy and Hutch are raced against each other in a bid to find the fastest TV cop car.
Fifth Gear’s panel of experts, Vicki Butler-Henderson, Tiff Needell, Jason Plato and Tom Ford introduce new celebrities to the show to undertake more motoring challenges. Virgin Radio breakfast show DJ Christian O’Connell, attempts a stunt driving routine; comedian Paddy McGuinness takes his motorbike test and they see just how fast cricketer Shane Warne is on a racing track.
