Ross Kemp In Search of Pirates
Ross Kemp returns to our screens to investigate the dangerous and secretive world of piracy at sea. He travels to some of the most troublesome areas across the globe to reveal how pirates steal ships, kidnap crews and hold international companies for ransom - making millions of dollars in the process. He begins in London, where he discovers the economic impact of hijackings on global trade, before joining a Royal Navy anti-piracy ship in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Somalia. Then he explores the impact of piracy in Nigeria, where he learns about the devastating effects on the area's fishing fleet, and investigates how attacks on oil tankers at the port of Lagos threaten the country's economy.
