Join chef and food fanatic Todd Fisher for brand new series, ‘United States of Bacon’ as he embarks on a mouth-watering journey around the USA in search of his favourite meat temples. Todd’s bacon cravings mirror those of his fellow American who are seemingly bacon obsessed, gobbling up more than 1.7 billion pounds each year. His travels lead him to discover delicious bacon in every thinkable form, from the sublime to the surreal. He encounters the Bacon Bacon truck’s traffic-stopping grilled cheese, which oozes bacon jam in addition to containing a few strips of the real stuff. Later he samples the outrageous chunky peanut butter bacon cheeseburger that's as savoury as it is sweet. Each episode induces hunger pangs of epic proportions, but Todd somehow manages to make enough room for the ‘United States of Bacon’.
