Discovery Home and Health commemorates Mental Health Awareness Week with an hour long story, telling the tale of the Schofield Family, whose daughter January was diagnosed as schizophrenic at five-years old, making her one of only two children to ever receive that diagnosis. Jani experiences vivid hallucinations, delusions and uncontrollable violent rages but can be soft spoken and possesses a genius IQ. Her hallucinations are her friends - rats and cats mostly - who can sometimes be good playmates but ultimately push her toward violence.
