Using interviews and dramatic first person accounts, viewers will witness horrifying tales of everyday people being struck down by strange symptoms and mysterious maladies. What follows is a race against time as brilliant doctors refuse to give up in their quest to uncover the medical clues, restore the patients to health and prevent an outbreak.
This series, doctors are baffled when a successful young businesswoman starts behaving as if she's possessed by demons, a nightclub DJ begins to exhibit signs of alcoholism despite being teetotal, and a young doctor begins to experience a puzzling array of debilitating symptoms which no other doctor can diagnose.
These cases are unbelievable, untraceable but hopefully not unstoppable.
