(Los Angeles - September 23, 2014) - On Friday, September 19, viewers stormed the court for the return of TANKED with basketball great Shaquille O'Neal. In the new episode, "Shaq-Sized," Wayde King and Brett Raymer build a Superman-themed aquarium set in a semi-truck for the center's Orlando mansion. The episode delivered more than 1.3M P2+ viewers across its 10 PM premiere and 12 AM encore. It's the series' most-watched premiere in 2014.

Also reeling in the ratings are Friday night series TREEHOUSE MASTERS and REDWOOD KINGS, which the network renewed for the third and second season, respectively.

TREEHOUSE MASTERS, which captures the sky-high builds of renowned treehouse builder Pete Nelson, drew in a combined 1.7M P2+ viewers across its 9 PM premiere and 11 PM encore airings for its special episode, "AJ's Wish Treehouse," last Friday. TREEHOUSE MASTERS ranks as Animal Planet's second-most-watched series year to date among P2+ viewers and P18-49.  The series returns with more arboreal masterpieces in January 2015 with 10 episodes.

This spring, viewers also are treated to the eclectic wood creations of Paso Robles-based Ron and John Daniels when a new season of REDWOOD KINGS returns to Animal Planet with 10 original episodes. The premiere season brought in 764K P2+ viewers.
