-- Season Three of HILLBILLY BLOOD Premieres With Back-to-Back Episodes on Saturday, January 25 at 9/8c --

(Silver Spring, Md.) - Destination America returns to the deep wilderness of the Appalachian Mountains in season three of its hit series HILLBILLY BLOOD. Reuniting everybody's favorite backwoods builders, Eugene Runcus and Spencer "Two-Dogs" Boljack, HILLBILLY BLOOD offers a look into the rough-and-tumble life of these colorful characters living off the grid and off the land. Using their wit and ingenuity, Eugene and Spencer channel their audacious spirit and vast knowledge of the outdoors to create handmade contraptions that help them survive the hard-scrabble conditions of life in Cold Mountain, North Carolina, where the terrain is breathtaking but the environment is extreme. Watch these mountain men navigate their way through the wild of Appalachia in an all-new season of HILLBILLY BLOOD, premiering on Saturday, January 25 at 9 and 9:30 PM E/P on Destination America.

"Eugene and Spencer are the ultimate hillbilly MacGuvvers, using backwoods and mountain know how to earn an honest day's living," said Marc Etkind, general manager of Destination America. "We're proud to showcase these American originals and their backyard genius."

In this season of HILLBILLY BLOOD, see first-hand how to make useful biodiesel out of worthless pork fat and how to concoct a water heater with cow dung. These authentic woodsmen use their can-do attitudes and everyday instruments to create MacGyver-esque gadgets for survival. HILLBILLY BLOOD offers a how-to guide and a voyeuristic look into outdoor survival.

Premiere episodes include:

Legend of the Lost Creek Gold Premieres Saturday, January 25 at 9/8c Spencer and Eugene go treasure hunting with their neighbor Cowboy to find the legendary, gold-filled Lost Creek. To retrieve this bounty, the boys must build their own backwoods dredger, which is made only from a household water pump and hoses. They will have to get their homemade dredger through Appalachia's tough terrain, which is easier said than done.

Green Gold Premieres Saturday, January 25 at 9:30/8:30c In this episode, the boys must harvest a half-pound of ginseng to trade for the down payment on Eugene's truck. However, before Eugene and Spencer can start searching for this valuable root, they will have to find a way to dry out the ginseng. The boys will put their mountain know-how to the test in order to concoct a waterwheel-powered dehydrator out of junk. But a young poacher, whose ginseng-sniffing dog is finding every plant on Spencer's land, jeopardizes the boys' plan.
