Beyond the Bio

  • The biggest story I've covered was...producing a wide angle about electronic health records shortly after the government announced that, as part of the stimulus package, it would offer grants to help health care providers implement and use electronic health records. Among other stories, I conducted a Q&A to dispel five misconceptions about converting medical charts and records from hard copy to a computerized system.
  • When I'm not covering technology for Discovery News, you'll find me...walking my dog, working out, writing fiction, cooking or traveling.
  • I became interested in science and technology thanks to...my first job in journalism at Astronomy. I learned to love science and physics and haven't looked back.
  • Favorite Quote: "What is written without effort is in general read without pleasure." - Samuel Johnson
