-- ID Hosts Special INSPIRE A DIFFERENCE Programming Marathon in support of "PUT THE NAIL IN IT" to Kick-Off New Season of Hit ID Series "DEADLINE: CRIME WITH TAMRON HALL"--

(Silver Spring, Md.)- America's leading crime and justice network, Investigation Discovery (ID), announced today its partnership with leading advocacy group Safe Horizon, the largest organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence in the United States. A partner in ID's multi-platform public affairs campaign, INSPIRE A DIFFERENCE, Safe Horizon is the nation's largest victims' services agency that has touched more than 250,000 children, adults and families affected by crime and abuse by providing them with key resources such as shelters, counseling and legal services. ID continues its Safe Horizon partnership with a dedicated programming marathon for the organization's #PutTheNailinIt campaign, an initiative that encourages men and women to show support for victims of abuse and pledge to take a stand against domestic violence.

The INSPIRE A DIFFERENCE programming marathon airs on Sunday, June 14 from 3PM ET - 6PM ET, and features encores of the most inspiring episodes of ID's hit newsmagazine series DEADLINE: CRIME, featuring Tamron Hall, co-host of the third hour of NBC News' TODAY and anchor of MSNBC's NewsNation, who is also lending her voice to the Safe Horizon campaign.

DEADLINE: CRIME continues for a third season with 10 all-new episodes featuring complete coverage of crimes that shocked the nation and shook the small communities where they took place. Hall remains true to her signature style of reporting, as she doggedly searches for the truth in cases where crucial evidence, testimonies, and motives have eluded those seeking justice. Produced by Peacock Productions, NBC News' award-winning production arm, the all-new season of DEADLINE: CRIME WITH TAMRON HALL follows the INSPIRE A DIFFERENCE marathon on Sunday, June 14 at 10/9c.

ID and Safe Horizon encourage viewers to show their support for #PutTheNailinIt by participating in a live Twitter chat with Hall and Safe Horizon's domestic violence expert Liz Roberts on Sunday, June 14 from 4-5PM ET. To join the conversation, be sure to follow @DiscoveryID and use the hashtags #InspireADifference and #PutTheNailinIt.
