Each one-hour episode follows the unpredictable twists of missing person cases, tracking investigations aimed at solving how and why people simply vanish. The stories begin at the time immediately before the individual vanished, chronicling the search for clues hidden beneath seemingly everyday behavior that may indicate if the person left voluntarily or if foul play was involved. While some of the resolutions are heartwarming and others tragic, many cases remain open to this day and continue to be a source of unbearable frustration for the loved ones left behind. For those cases that have gone cold, DISAPPEARED asks viewers to share any fresh leads in hopes of deciphering what truly happened to the missing. Missing Valentine Premieres Monday, October 24 at 10 PM ET 42-year-old Patricia Viola is living the life of her dream with two wonderful children and a happy, stable marriage. On February 13, 2001, Pat sees the kids off to school, volunteers at the local library, then returns home and briefly calls her mother. That is the last time anyone saw or heard from Pat. Police immediately launch an investigation to determine if Pat was the victim of foul play or if she left voluntarily. Ten years later, a private investigator stumbles on a surprising connection between Pat and a triple homicide that could blow the case wide open. Location: Bogota, NJ
The Dark Ravine Premieres Monday, October 31 at 10 PM ET Mandy Stokes leaves her apartment to run errands on the Sunday after Thanksgiving in 2007. When she doesn't return by the next morning, Mandy's mother feels that something is wrong. Her intuition sparks a missing person's investigation by Oakland Police that leads from the apartment Mandy shared with her brother to the cavernous ravine where her car is found abandoned. In a bizarre twist, police transfer the case to the Homicide Unit, and her mother's worst nightmare begins to unfold as she is forced to consider the possibility that her own son is involved in Mandy's disappearance. A Father's Quest Premieres Monday, November 7 at 10 PM In the spring of 2006, Leah Peebles moved from her parents' house to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to make a fresh start while recovering from a drug addiction. Though she came from a loving family, Leah had turned to drugs to help cope with being molested as a toddler and raped as a teenager. But just a few weeks into her new life, the 23 year old stepped out one night and was never seen again. Leah's father took it upon himself to search for his daughter in Albuquerque, where he discovered Leah had fallen back into drugs and, worse yet, turned to prostitution to support her habit. Mr. Peebles has since spent the past five years traversing the underworld in New Mexico, learning the ins and outs of some of the darkest corners of society, and remains determined to search until he can bring his daughter home. Memory Lane Premieres Monday, November 14 at 10 PM When 32-year-old Amber Gerweck doesn't show up for work, police search her apartment, but Amber is nowhere to be found, and the evidence left behind alludes to foul play. Then, only a few hours later, Amber's vehicle is discovered abandoned in a parking lot in Georgia, over six hundred miles away. A surveillance video reveals Amber walking through the store and purchasing items. Amber appears unharmed, but her parents are terrified - three days have passed since the video was recorded, and they have heard nothing from their daughter. What has happened to Amber since? By the end of the first week, Georgia police mount an extensive search through the surrounding area, but they fail to uncover any clues. A number of weeks pass, and the case begins to go cold. Amber's parents are devastated. Then, they receive a phone call that will change everything. Location: Jackson, MI
