The people profiled in I (ALMOST) GOT AWAY WITH IT evaded justice for years, sometimes decades, by using their families, fake identification and even violence to avoid capture. Each episode features an interview from prison with these slick culprits, who spill where they found shelter, how they changed their identities and how they almost got away with it. The fourth season of I (ALMOST) GOT AWAY WITH IT starts Thursday, October 6 at 10 PM ET on Investigation Discovery.
One hour earlier, at 9 PM ET, I (ALMOST) GOT AWAY WITH IT: LOVE ON THE RUN recounts three true stories of fugitives who found romance while under constant and intense pressure to evade police and risked capture to be with the one they love. They say love is blind, but it can be downright blinding when two people fall so deeply in love that they lose sight of what's right and what's wrong. The three couples featured in this special include Michael Brown and his wife Donna Moses Brown, Courtenay Savage and her boyfriend Russ, and Steven Russell and his fellow inmate-turned boyfriend Phillip Morris.
