BOURDAIN IS BACK TO SERVE UP ANOTHER SEASON OF EATS, ADVENTURES, AND OPINIONS WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVATIONS

Addicted to local flavours, best-selling author and reluctant food celebrity Anthony Bourdain returns to Discovery Travel & Living with ANTHONY BOURDAIN: NO RESERVATIONS. Follow Tony as he veers off tourist traps and placates his insatiable curiosity for unique local cuisine.

In this newest season of Emmy-nominated series ANTHONY BOURDAIN: NO RESERVATIONS, Tony continues to explore every corner of the globe to sample the world's smorgasbord of flavours. The sharp-talking ex-chef - who has quit chain-smoking and is now a proud father - is determined to savour them all with NO RESERVATIONS.

Join him as he meets the weird, wild and downright outrageous personalities and places that liven up the international cultural landscape on his journey. He travels to the Philippines for delicious roasted pork and beef bulalo, treks over to Mexico for  tacos al pastor, visits a culinary school in Sri Lanka that is focusing its efforts on rebuilding a tsunami-devastated village, and returns to one of his favourite places in the world - Vietnam.

Don't miss ANTHONY BOURDAIN: NO RESERVATIONS as unlikely celebrity chef offers his honest but candid opinions from the lip-smacking to the downright nasty.

ANTHONY BOURDAIN: NO RESERVATIONS: episode descriptions:

Chicago
Tony lands in the "Windy City" to sample deep dish pizza and an extraordinary sandwich called "Three Little Pigs," before spending an evening with Chicago chef and restaurateur Paul Kahan, owner of two popular restaurants, Blackbird and Avec.

Mexico
Tony heads down south to Mexico with friend and sous chef at Les Halles, Carlos. He also meets with David Lida, author of First Stop in the New World, to enjoy Mexico City's municipal dish - tacos al pastor.

Venice
Built on more than 100 islands, Venice offers Tony several delicious treats. The intrepid traveller meets up with Gigi Viannello, who takes him on a Bacari (tapas / wine bar) crawl through distinctly wonderful baccaros.

Azores
Tony travels to the beautiful islands of Azores and sinks his teeth into the unique culinary specialties of Reibera, a fishing town in Sao Miguel.

Philippines
Tony travels to the Philippines for some fantastic roasted pork and meets up with Augusto, the runner-up for the NO RESERVATIONS FAN-atic Special casting call, at Capitol Site Eatery, which is a great spot for beef bulalo.

Disappearing Manhattan
Tony heads back home to revisit some of Manhattan's iconic establishments that risk being sidelined (and forgotten) by the city's chic eateries and fickle diners.

Food Porn
In this  NO RESERVATIONS special, Tony revisits some of his favourite restaurants in New York City, Washington, D.C., Vietnam and more.

Sri Lanka
Tony takes a culinary tour through the diverse cuisine of Sri Lanka and heads to the tsunami-devasted village of Seenigama to visit a local culinary school that focuses on rebuilding the town.

Vietnam
Tony returns to one of the most magical restaurants he has seen in the world and takes in all that has changed since his last trip to Saigon, which took place over seven years ago.

Buffalo, Baltimore and Detroit
In the bleak mid-winter, and with his good friend and trusty sidekick Zamir along for the ride, Tony travels to the heart and soul of America's rust belt with stops in Baltimore, Detroit and Buffalo.

Australia
Melbourne, known as Australia's cultural capital, is a melting pot of cultures, and Tony is off to discover what makes it so special. Luckily, Tony has many friends here, all of whom take him to sample the many different cuisines of Melbourne.
