Premieres: Southeast Asia on Jul 20 at 9:00 pm; North Asia on Aug 6 at 7:00 pm

ANDREW ZIMMERN IS BACK WITH MORE BIZARRE FOODS ON DISCOVERY TRAVEL & LIVING

Unofficially the world's most un-fussy eater, Andrew Zimmern is a true believer that one man's poison is another man's three star Michelin course. Revealing a side of dining out that will make you think twice before going with the "house special", Andrew maxes out his street credentials to literally unearth the world's most outlandish cuisine. Taking you on a journey from Asia to South America, the third season of BIZARRE FOODS WITH ANDREW ZIMMERN premieres this month.

If you are looking to break away from your usual eggs and pancakes breakfast routine, tune into BIZARRE FOODS WITH ANDREW ZIMMERN as the adventurous eater discovers meals you won't find on an average menu. Follow Andrew Zimmern and his iron-clad stomach as he wanders around markets and restaurants taking viewers behind the scenes to savour the local cuisine - even if that means chewing on pig stomach or licking ice cream made of salt cod fish.

Among the destinations Andrew visits this season are Thailand, Mongolia, Japan, and Puerto Rico. From fried tarantulas in Cambodia to an oven-grilled boa constrictor in Nicaragua, hold on to your seat - and lunch - as Andrew chows down on the weird and downright bizarre in the following episodes of BIZARRE FOODS WITH ANDREW ZIMMERN:

Nicaragua
Nicaragua has had its share of hardships but the people of this nation are resilient and resourceful, and it shows in the food they eat. Andrew visits this tropical island to get a taste of some of its unusual local fare.

Puerto Rico
Join Andrew in Puerto Rico as he visits the Pork Highway, tries some strange ice cream and tours a unique San Juan market. Andrew then goes deep into the heart of the Puerto Rican rainforest and sample some wild treats along the way.

Mongolia
Andrew visits rugged Mongolia, where people live off the harsh yet spectacular land much in the same way their ancestors did in the days of Genghis Kahn. Andrew samples the cuisine along the way including some foods he has never even seen until now.

Tokyo
Join Andrew as he returns to the vibrant and trend-setting city of Tokyo for more unforgettable adventures in food from legendary seafood markets to becoming a horumon chef for a day serving up intestines from cows and pigs.

Arizona
Andrew uncovers unique food traditions where the spirit of the Wild West still lives strong today. From native traditions of the Navajo to the New Agers' approach to food, this state offers an abundance of bizarre foods.

Cambodia
Andrew visits Cambodia, a developing nation where the food traditions once based out of necessity are now a source of national pride. Tarantulas, bats, fertilised duck eggs and rotted fish count as common cuisine.

Bangkok
Andrew travels to Bangkok, one of the best eating destinations in the world. He revels in the diversity of flavours and ancient cooking techniques from all over Southeast Asia that are fused together in this one city.

Thailand
Andrew travels beyond the frenetic city of Bangkok to rural northeastern Thailand, a region known as "Isan". When it comes to food in Isan, the people know how to make use of everything living and breathing!
