Queens Of The Savannah
New to Animal Planet in May, ‘Queens of the Savannah' recounts the daily chronicles and adventures of five characters in wild Africa. In association with the Museum of Natural History in Paris, ‘Queens of the Savannah' is based upon real observations, scientific data with a twist of humour. This documentary series offers new insight on the relationships animals have with nature as we discover the stories of Bea the female chimpanzee, Esther the female elephant, Laura the lioness, Victoria the female cheetah and Clement the male ostrich. Highlights of the series include exploring the rivalries and power struggles between the Savannahs animals and how adaptability is key survival and being crowned Queen of the Savannah; whilst the art of seduction and motherhood are also explored.
