The search for the next ‘Groomer of the Year’ begins as ‘Groomer Has It’ returns to Animal Planet for a second series. The reality competition sniffs out twelve of America’s most passionate and skilled dog groomers to compete against each other in a test of desire, creativity and affinity with animals. Hosted by Jai Rodriguez, the contestants will shave, shear and shampoo their way through a variety of challenges, working both individually and as teams. They will have to create signature looks in the show’s first-ever ‘doggie wedding’ and use their canine-grooming skills to transform scruffy dogs into works of art. Each of these groomers thinks he or she has what it takes to be top dog in this competition, but in reality, only one ‘Groomer Has It.’
