‘Rebuilding The Past', is a ten-part series following a group of experimental archaeologists attempting to build an authentic Roman Villa in rural Hampshire. This will be the first attempt to construct Roman villa in nearly 2,000 years using original methods. But will this keen group of modern day enthusiasts and archaeologists be able to successfully employ techniques that haven't been attempted in millennia? Or will it be a build too far?
