Family Secrets
‘Family Secrets’, is an investigative series that brings family history alive. Fronted by an experienced investigative journalist, each week the show takes a young family member on a voyage of discovery to uncover the truth behind a mystery that has baffled his or her family for generations. It takes the young family member and the viewer behind the scenes, into the often dark, labyrinthine archival storage facilities where documents that can solve mysteries are found. Each episode starts with a plea from a family member to solve their family’s mystery. The presenter then starts the search. When he has gathered enough information he takes the “seeker” on a journey of discovery, revealing as they travel the clues that will eventually resolve the mystery. The “seeker” is also, where appropriate, introduced to people who have information that can lead to a resolution.
