In the winter of 1978, a rash of atrocities rocked Sacramento, California. It seemed as though someone was walking the streets at night in search of unsuspecting prey. That person turned out to be local schizophrenic Richard Trenton Chase. Before his capture, the newspapers would dub him the ‘Vampire of Sacramento'. At first the citizens scoffed at the thought of a vampire stalking their town, but in the wake of numerous deaths they began to believe in this nightmare figure and elevated him to the realm of Lore and Legend. This is the story of Richard Trenton Chase.
