Grand Designs Abroad
In the series, ‘Grand Designs Abroad,' host Kevin McCloud meets people who not only have ambitious house builds on their mind, but they are travelling to a different country to do it. Following on from the successful UK series, showcasing ordinary people trying to build their uniquely styled dream home, it journeys to the sunnier climes of places such as Italy, France and Spain. Watch Kevin as he casts his expert eye over a house in France built entirely of hay and wood. During the build Kevin offers advice and support while Mark and Deborah Sampson continue to renovate their eco-friendly home. Other builds featured on the series include a restoration of an olive farm in southern Italy and an impressive conversion of a grand church in Ireland.
