Buddy pushes the contestants' baking and decorating skills to the limit through a series of increasingly difficult challenges. The pressure is on for America’s top bakers as they strive to create a spectacular cake worthy of the $50,000 cash prize and the chance to work alongside one of the World’s most successful and renowned cake artists. In the first episode, the contestants have nine-hours to produce a cake that showcases both their baking and decorating prowess, and the tasks keep getting tougher. Someone will go home every week - until the Next Great Baker is the last one standing.
