Shear Genius
Real Time Italy invites you to join the search for talented hair stylists from all over America who will compete for the ultimate title of ‘Shear Genius.’ The winner will receive $100,000 US dollars courtesy of Nexxus Salon Hair Care, an apprenticeship with Nexxus and a chance to style hair for Allure magazine feature. The stylists face two challenges per episode; the short cut challenge, and the elimination challenge, testing creativity and advanced skills. They must also possess the ability to service a client’s needs, manage a staff and work as part of a team, in order to make it in the competition. In each episode, host Jaclyn Smith, delivers the news to the chosen winner and loser. Some stylists will get 'cut' early and others will 'blow away' the competition.
