Punkin' Chunkin' 2010
As part of Backyard Engineering night on Discovery Science, ‘Punkin Chunkin 2010' follows 120 teams of backyard engineers who converge each year in Bridgeville, Delaware for the Annual Punkin' Chunkin' World Championships. These competitors unleash their homebuilt machines and take aim at achieving the coveted title of throwing the world's furthest chunk of pumpkin. Bizarre as it may seem, team "Big 10 inch" return to protect the 2009 crown, and aim to reach the holy grail of Punkin' Chunkin', the elusive one mile mark.
