Children's Emergency Rescue

Image 1 / 1

Series following a specialist team of doctors and nurses dedicated to transporting some of the UK's sickest children and infants to expert medical care. Flying doctor Hazel Talbot scrambles an RAF rescue helicopter to race a 13-year-old patient 200 miles from Leeds to London in time for a life-saving heart transplant. Then, a baby with a hole in her heart desperately needs surgery, but the nearest hospital is closed. Nurse Jamie must keep his tiny patient alive long enough to reach another unit 100 miles away. The drama continues as the rescue team rushes to save a girl who needs a heart transplant, a baby's heart stops beating, and a little girl is knocked unconscious by a car.
