From dirty bedrooms and mould-ridden bathrooms to incompetent staff or sub-standard customer service, Ramsay endures the hotels at their worst, before working with the hotel owners and employees to improve these hapless establishments. Determined to give each location the competitive edge they need to survive in the cut-throat hospitality industry, Gordon turns these struggling establishments upside down, raising tensions to maximum capacity as he goes head-to-head with the owners and pushes staff to raise their game in order to make the business a success.
