Model Life with Petra Nemcova
Follow six aspiring models as they take on the challenging journey, from their very first test shoot, right through to the runways of New York Fashion Week. Supermodel, humanitarian and host, Petra Nemcova serves as a mentor and friend to the prospective models as they learn the art of modelling and the business of fashion. Using her own life experiences, Petra advises the apprentices on how to succeed as a model whilst emphasising the importance of having a well-rounded life. Over several weeks, the six girls live through the harsh business of modelling, from finicky photographers and clothing designers, to the contradicting advice on weight and body image given by bookers and nutritionists. Throughout the process, Next Modelling evaluates the potential of these fresh faces and ultimately determines how many of them are worthy of a contract with the agency at the end of the series.
