Top TV chef David Adjey knows the restaurant business inside out, and in ‘The Opener’, he is determined to give amateur restaurateurs a fighting chance at success. With their life savings on the line and often very naïve expectations, David uses unorthodox teaching techniques to identify problems and come up with a plan to get them to opening night and beyond. Between a pair of former university friends looking for their next great adventure, an ex-nightclub promoter eager to transfer his skills into the restaurant business, and an owner who has hired a strict vegetarian as his head chef, David has a difficult task on his hands. The stakes are high, the clock is ticking, and failure is not on the menu!
