New series ‘Private Practice’ follows renowned neonatal surgeon, Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, played by Kate Walsh, as she builds a new life for herself in Santa Monica after moving from Seattle Grace. Reunited with her newly divorced medical school friends, Naomi, played by Audra McDonald and Sam, played by Taye Diggs, Addison joins them in their chic private practice. Together, the doctors of Oceanside Wellness and Pacific Wellcare help patients whose medical needs often pose moral and ethical dilemmas, which can sometimes test the bounds of their friendship. However, despite the complications that life throws at them, they always know that they can rely on one another.
