Rebuilding Faces
Rebuilding Faces follows two men suffering from severe facial disfigurement - one caused by war, the other by nature. James has a rare case of neurofibromatosis that manifests in facial tumours that drip down the left side of his face. He was covered by insurance until he was 18, but for the past 28 years, the tumour has been untreated. And Mike Mills, hit by an IED in Iraq in 2005. The explosion left him with burns on 30% of his body. After extensive surgery the final part is to get his nose rebuilt.
