Discovery World's ‘Exploring the Limits' season of compelling programming, sees amazing people push themselves to the edge of human endurance as they undertake incredible challenges in extreme conditions. Part of this special is ‘Out Of The Wild: Venezuela', in which nine ordinary people have volunteered to participate in one of the world's most intense tests of will. This eight-part riveting depiction of man and woman's struggle against all that Mother Nature has to throw at them, sees the strangers flown in, dropped off and abandoned in a remote corner of Venezuela's southern frontier. This is a lost world that once lured explorers in search of El Dorado - the legendary City of Gold. All the participants have are the clothes on their backs and a few basic supplies. And their goal - to find their way back to civilization.
