I Almost Got Away With It reveals true tales of fugitives living life on the lam and the bizarre lengths they'll go to, to retain their freedom from fake IDs and outright violence. In this eight part series, discover what pushed these criminals to commit their crimes and how they evaded the law and almost got away with it.
The perpetrators featured in this series include a lifer whose prison guard lover helps him escape, a murderer who escaped jail by squeezing through an air duct, and the Texas Seven, who masterminded a daring prison escape to wreak havoc on a crime spree.
All different criminal backgrounds but one shared motive: to stay out of prison. It's the 'most wanted' show on Investigation Discovery this November.
