Each hour-long episode of Scorned: Crimes Of Passion will give viewers a voyeuristic peek into the lust and animalistic obsession that have fuelled some of the more brutal acts of violence to grab front-page headlines across the globe. Pamela Smart loved good times, rock music and most of all, her new husband Gregg. But after moving to a sleepy New Hampshire town, Gregg cut his rocker hair and began work in insurance, a job Pam thought changed him. She found solace in a group of teenage students at the school where she worked. One in particular caught her eye, 15-year-old Billy Flynn. The schoolteacher had one thing in mind: convincing her pupil to murder Gregg. Pam pulled all the strings, instructing Billy and his accomplices to stage a burglary as cover. In 1990, six days before their first wedding anniversary, Pam returned home to discover the corpse of her college sweetheart shot in the head.
