Friends joke that they're the "Brad and Angelina of little people". They describe themselves as "the real life seven dwarves". TLC viewers are about to discover they're bona fide TV stars.

The Johnstons, from rural Georgia, USA, are the largest known family of Achondroplastic dwarfs in the world. Trent, 38, and Amber, 35, are devoted to bringing up their five kids "in a world that's not built for them."

Whilst pregnant with Elizabeth - their second biological child after Jonah, 15 - Amber measured 51 inches around and 48 inches tall. For her own safety, they decided to adopt from then on - Anna,14, from Russia, Alex, 9, from South Korea, and Emma, 9, from China. Hence the "Brad and Angelina" nickname.

The series follows the lovable clan as they set about renovating their dream home, the teenage girls prepare for their first school dance, Trent decides to get in shape and enters a one-mile fun run and Jonah drives in public for the first time - "We have good insurance." Amber
