Playhouse Masters
Premieres October 4th, 8pm
In a recent interview with Canada's National Post, Tyson Leavitt admitted: "I never thought I would be building princess castles for a living.” It isn't just castles, there are also pirate ships, fifties diners and Hobbit holes too.
That's because Tyson and his wife Audy are the Playhouse Masters and this October they're bringing their epic, crazy, one-of-a-kind playhouses to TLC.
The Leavitts are living the dream creating the most elaborate, over-the-top playhouses in all of North America. Says Tyson, "We get to build structures that no one else in the world gets to build".
We'll follow the couple from design to installation as they turn their cute clients' dreams into reality. Depending on the design, these out-of-this-world backyard escapes range in price from about $7,000 (£5,352) up to $100,000 (£76,470).
Bringing fairytales to life is a family affair, as the Leavitt kids Miles, Emmett and Lydia, have quite possibly the best job in the world - they are the official playhouse testers.
