The award-winning series featuring Tia Torres, a true believer in second chances, returns with an all-new season featuring more rescues and more heartfelt stories as she works tirelessly to change the stereotypes surrounding pit bulls, while offering parolees a new start as staff and volunteers. Join Tia, her family and her dedicated team at New Orleans-based Villalobos Rescue Center, the largest pit bull rescue in the U.S., as they work together to give every dog an opportunity to find a perfect home. It’s a jam-packed season filled with higher stakes, and for Tia, another opportunity to fight for these special animals who deserve a chance at life. PIT BULLS & PAROLEES returns for an all-new season Saturday, September 29 at 9 PM ET/PT.

In this season of PIT BULLS & PAROLEES, we’ll see Tia and her family tested like never before as they are pulled in multiple directions to answer the call. The Villalobos team experiences the craziest 24 hours in the rescue’s history as Tia is called to rescue a pack of abandoned wolf hybrids, while Mariah and Marcel try to catch three pit bulls loose in the city. Country Matt returns to help his brother, a new parolee struggling to connect with the dogs at the rescue. Later in the season the annual You Watch, We Give episode on Saturday, November 24, Tia faces one of the biggest rescues yet when she receives a call about several abandoned dogs, but when the team arrives on scene, it’s unlike anything they’ve ever encountered. Prepare to walk alongside Tia and her family as they work tirelessly to protect and care for these misunderstood dogs, while showcasing them as the loving companions they really are.  

For those who can’t wait, viewers can prep for the premiere by checking out Animal Planet’s new digital mid-form series, PIT BULLS & PAROLEES: HARROWING RESCUES, available later this month on Animal Planet GO. In this exciting 5-episode series, audiences will have the chance to see highlights of some of the most challenging rescues ever featured on the show and discover where these inspiring rescue dogs are today.
