Jocelyn Shearer
Vice President, Footage Sales
Shearer is responsible for developing and leading a sales team to build market share and expand the distribution client base to maximize the value of Discovery's extensive content library. This includes Discovery Access, a robust e-commerce platform designed to achieve aggressive reach in the content re-licensing market.
Most recently, Shearer was with National Geographic where she was Vice President of Video Products and Archive Management. In this role, she negotiated more than 300 content license and distribution deals. Shearer's prior experience includes work with Corbis and Getty Images. She studied English Literature and Philosophy at the University of Toronto.
