After acquiring HowStuffWorks.com in 2003, Jeff Arnold raised more than $75 million in private equity for the site. Jeff set the organizational vision and strategy and under his leadership, the site has grown to attract 20 MM visitors each month.  In 2007, Jeff orchestrated its sale to Discovery Communications, the world's number one nonfiction media company.  Jeff currently serves as Chairman Emeritus for HowStuffWorks.com, Chief of Global Digital Strategy for Discovery Communications, and the Chairman and Chief Architect of Sharecare, an interactive healthcare platform organizing and answering the questions of health.

Jeff also founded and served as CEO of The Convex Group, a media and technology holding company whose portfolio included HowStuffWorks.com until its sale to Discovery in 2007 for $250 million. Additionally, Jeff serves as the chairman of Forbes Travel Guide, formerly Mobil Travel Guide, the originator of the Five-Star rating system and America's most respected hospitality reviews company.

Prior to founding The Convex Group, Jeff founded and served as CEO of WebMD, the e-health care company leading the transformation of health care into a more accessible and efficient system using the Internet. Between August 1998 and September 2000, Jeff negotiated more than 10 acquisitions, growing WebMD from 60 people and $75,000 in annual revenue to more than 5,000 people and revenue of nearly $1 billion in 2001. Before launching WebMD, Jeff started Quality Diagnostic Services (QDS), a cardiac arrhythmia monitoring company, ultimately selling the company to Matria Healthcare for $25 million in 1998.
