Silver Spring, Md. – Discovery Communications announced today the release of its latest mobile offering, the TLC App for iPad, now available in the iTunes App Store. TLC opens doors into the worlds of real-life, extraordinary people, allowing viewers to explore the lives of these unique characters, and the new iPad app provides complementary content for millions of fans of TLC’s programming.

The TLC App is the official iPad experience for viewers of the network’s popular series including Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Cake Boss, Say Yes to the Dress, Long Island Medium and more, offering access to videos, show information, social sharing and other features for easy, on-the-go access. Additionally, fans can look forward to show-driven immersive experience with behind-the-scenes content and extras audio synched to episodes coming to the app in the coming months.
