Leading global strategy and business development for Discovery Education, Elisa Freeman is charged with expanding the company's products and services portfolio, leading the development of international markets, and managing key partnerships and government relationships.
Prior to joining Discovery in 1999, Freeman worked in consulting for clients including American Express, served as director of regulatory affairs for Oncor Communications, Inc. in Bethesda, Md., and was manager of association services for the Association Management Bureau in Washington, DC.
Among her many industry achievements and affiliations, Freeman is a member of the Cable Television Association for Marketing and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and is a graduate of WICT's Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. Freeman holds a Juris Doctor from American University and a Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College.
