(September 12, 2013) - Discovery Education, the leading provider of digital content for K-12 classrooms, announced today the addition of new dynamic resources to its Discovery Education Streaming and Streaming Plus and Discovery Education Science TechbookTM series to enhance ELL and foreign language instruction.
Through Discovery Education Streaming and Streaming Plus, educators and students now have access to Spanish versions of the series The Magic School Bus, Animated Hero Classics and Clifford the Big Red Dog. The popular series help English language learners grasp concepts in core content areas. The series also enhance Spanish language instruction.
Other new resources available in Spanish through Discovery Education Science Techbook series include theScience Video Vocab and The Language of Science series. These series help Spanish speaking students master scientific concepts and prepare them for English-based science tests. In addition to these new resources, the Discovery Education Science Techbook series also supports multi-language instruction with closed captioning, text-to-voice as well as an interactive glossary with definitions in a variety of languages.
