The first person ever to walk the length of the Amazon River, Ed Stafford, undertook an extreme physical and mental survival challenge in Discovery's April series Naked Castaway when he landed naked and alone on the island of Olorua with only his brain and bare hands to keep him alive for 60 days.  From the very moment he landed on the island, naked, Stafford was on a race to stay alive. Safely back home, Stafford reflects on his amazing desert island adventure in NAKED CASTAWAY: ED BARES ALL on Sunday, July 7 at 9PM ET/PT.

During his two months alone on the island where he had no contact with another human being, Stafford coped with loneliness, sweltering temperatures by day and cold at night with no shelter or sun screen. He discusses the highs and the lows and what he learned about survival and himself. NAKED CASTAWAY: ED BARES ALL features never before seen footage from Naked Castaway, as well as all new interview segments with Stafford as he discusses his most incredible island moments.

NAKED CASTAWAY: ED BARES ALL is produced for Discovery Channel by Tigress Productions and Dick Colthurst is Executive Producer. Elizabeth McIntyre is Commissioning Editor and Helen Hawken is Executive Producer for Discovery Networks International. French Horwitz serves as Executive Producer for Discovery Channel.
