(NEW YORK) Discovery Channel's limited summer series premiere of GOLD RUSH: SOUTH AMERICA was the #1 cable program in Prime among Persons and Men 25-54 delivery (no exclusions) and #2 in ALL OF TELEVISION among Men 25-54 and Men 18-49 delivery (no exclusions) on Friday, August 2. The series earned a 1.64 HH/1.26 P25-54 rating and delivered 2.4 million viewers P2+, beating several broadcast television series including: ABC's 20/20" and "Would You Fall for That?" and NBC's "Dateline." In addition, Discovery Channel was the #1 cable network among Men 25-54 Friday in Prime.

A new episode of GOLD RUSH: SOUTH AMERICA premieres Friday, August 9th at 9 PM ET/PT.
