DISCOVERY CHANNEL RECEIVES 3 PRIMETIME EMMY® NOMINATIONS

LOS ANGELES) – Discovery Channel received three Emmy® nominations for the 71st Primetime Emmy® Awards, announced this morning by the Television Academy. The hit series Deadliest Catch picked up nominations for Outstanding Cinematography For A Reality Program, Outstanding Picture Editing For An Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. Deadliest Catch, currently in its 15th season, has received 51 nominations to date and 16 wins.

Deadliest Catch profiles the men and women who risk their lives and put everything on the line to complete the most dangerous job in the world. The series airs Tuesdays at 9 PM ET/PT on the Discovery Channel.

 

The Creative Arts Emmys will take place over 2 nights on Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15. The Primetime Emmys Telecast will air live the following week on FOX on Sunday, September 22.
