DISCOVERY STRIKES RATINGS GOLD ON FRIDAY DEC. 11 WITH SEASON HIGH RATINGS FOR GOLD RUSH AND GOLD RUSH: WHITE WATER
GOLD RUSH #1 in All of Television Among Men

Discovery Channel Struck gold on Friday Dec. 11 as two series, GOLD RUSH and GOLD RUSH: WHITE WATER, broke ratings and viewership records for the season. GOLD RUSH was the #1 program on ALL OF TELEVISION among Men, beating all broadcast networks, including CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX. On cable, GOLD RUSH and GOLD RUSH: WHITE WATER topped all networks among both Adults and Men.
GOLD RUSH at 8PM broke three ratings records for the season as it delivered the highest rated episode this year among Persons 25-54 (1.61 rating); Men 25-54 (2.06 rating); and among Total Viewers P2+ with more than three million viewers (3.09m). GOLD RUSH: WHITE WATER at 9PM broke two ratings records this season as it delivered the highest rated episode this year among Adults 25-54 (1.12) and Men 25-54 (1.40).
GOLD RUSH was the #1 series in all of television on Friday among Men 25-54, no exclusions. GOLD RUSH and GOLD RUSH: WHITE WATER were the #1 and #2 cable programs, respectively, among both Adults 25-54 and Men 25-54 for the night, no exclusions.
