Series Premiere Tuesday, June 18 (10 p.m. – 11 p.m. ET/PT)

“Ambitions” explores the sexy, deceitful machinations of love, power and politics in America’s hottest urban mecca, Atlanta, Georgia. The action revolves around the intense rivalry between formidable legal eagles Stephanie Carlisle Lancaster (Robin Givens) and Amara Hughes (Essence Atkins), former best friends from college who find themselves adversaries in both their personal and professional lives. Stephanie is married to driven Atlanta Mayor Evan Lancaster (Brian White). At the story’s inception, Amara and her husband, Titus Hughes (Kendrick Cross), move to Atlanta for a fresh start. Huge themes of gentrification and the American opioid crisis ground the series in the reality of today. Unforgettable strivers like round-the-way diner owner Rondell Lancaster (Brely Evans) and Mexican-American fashion designer Bella Tru (Erica Page) round out the ensemble cast of regulars.

“To Have & To Hold: Charlotte” follows five couples living in Charlotte and the real challenges they face, from financial stress, to issues with intimacy, to the ups and downs of parenthood. These tight-knit friends like to let loose and have fun, and while the passionate and often opinionated couples may have their differences, they will ultimately do anything for each other. As marriages and friendships are put to the test, will they have the love and strength needed to thrive or will some of these relationships crack under the pressure?

As Tyyawdi and David struggle with their trial separation, they find themselves being ambushed with unsolicited advice at Christine’s party – in front of Tyyawdi’s ex. Ursula meddles in her daughter’s relationship, hoping to stall her marriage plans.

Tyyawdi and David come clean with their family about nesting, and Ursula tries to prevent her daughter's boyfriend from proposing.  At Peter and Josh’s outrageous costume party, drinks flow and tempers flare.

Peter, Josh and Juliana diss Alane on a podcast, and when Alane confronts them, the gloves come off.  Ursula receives some news that rocks her marriage.  Ty is having second thoughts about separating from David, and Christine thinks she might be pregnant.

 

QUEEN SUGAR

Season Premiere Wednesday, June 12 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT)

In “Queen Sugar” Season 4, the contemporary drama returns as the Bordelons find themselves continuing their fight to save their family farm and preserve their father’s legacy as they navigate their own personal journeys. Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) remains in the thick of the trials and tribulations in both her personal and professional life as she continues to battle the Landry family while also trying to ensure Micah’s (Nicholas Ashe) safety and future. Nova (Rutina Wesley) publishes her memoir and while she goes on a book tour around the country sharing her family secrets and shaking things up at home, she unexpectedly encounters significant relationships from her past along the way. Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) is managing fatherhood and his complicated relationship with ex-girlfriend Darla (Bianca Lawson) after learning he is not the biological father of his son, Blue (Ethan Hutchison), and is encouraged by an old friend to create opportunities for formerly incarcerated men.

 

(P) Wednesday, June 12 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode 401

Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) learns that his parole has concluded, Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) and Romero (Walter Perez) enjoy each other’s company, and the Bordelon family celebrate the opening of Vi’s Prized Pies and Diner. Later, Nova (Rutina Wesley) finally delivers her manuscript to Violet (Tina Lifford), Charley, and Ralph Angel, and she attempts to find peace by visiting her father’s grave.

 

(P) Wednesday, June 19 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode 402

Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) confronts Nova (Rutina Wesley), and Micah (Nicholas L. Ashe) has a physical altercation with another student, which leads to a charged conversation with Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner). Elsewhere, Ralph Angel has a date with another mother, and Darla (Bianca Lawson) enjoys a coffee date of her own. Finally, a mystery man’s identity is revealed.

 

(P) Wednesday, June 26 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode 403

Violet’s (Tina Lifford) is surprised by someone from her past who arrives at her diner. Elsewhere, Prosper (Henry G. Sanders) offers comfort to Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe), and Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) when they discover something unsettling about Landry Enterprises. Finally, Violet demands that Nova (Rutina Wesley) leave for home … for good.

 

IYANLA: FIX MY LIFE

In dramatic new episodes, life coach Iyanla Vanzant works with those whose lives are in chaos, encouraging them to do the work necessary for real change. Through emotional heart-to-heart conversations and a large dose of tough-love, Iyanla helps individuals confront unresolved issues that are causing upheaval in their lives. Coaching her guests, Iyanla gives them the tools to fix their own lives – tools that will help them break the negative patterns that are preventing true happiness.

The Mitchell family returns in search of Iyanla’s help. In Part 1, bad behaviors have resurfaced, the pattern of abandonment has spread, and an attempted suicide by one of the six siblings causes Iyanla to up her game.
