LOS ANGELES – OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will air the Daytime Emmy® Award winning series “Give” as part of the network’s Saturday morning lineup beginning November 14.  Produced in association with Blair Underwood, Gary Reeves, Unite4:Good and Global Media Fusion, existing episodes of the series will air back-to-back each Saturday at 10 a.m. ET/PT and 10:30 a.m. ET/PT through February 6, 2021 on OWN. Underwood, Reeves and Hart are on board to produce all-new episodes of “Give” that are slated to air in early 2021.

Give” introduces viewers to the world of philanthropy in an exciting and hands-on way.  Hosted by actor/producer/director Blair Underwood, who just received his first Tony nomination for “A Soldier’s Play” and currently stars in Hulu’s “Bad Hair,” each episode of this feel-good series features a celebrity ambassador visiting charities that use innovation, best practices and dedication for change in their communities, and culminates with the celebrity ambassador presenting each charity with a donation to help continue their work.

“OWN is a perfect brand alliance for our ‘Give’ series,” said executive producer and host Blair Underwood.  “They truly represent social impact content.”  Kevin Hart added, “OWN and Blair are great partners to uplift deserving community service providers.  We ready!!!” Truly thankful for the OWN family believing in us,” said Reeves.  “We need to make giving cool.  It’s the moral compass we all need to see.”

New episodes of “Give” will also address factors effecting the planet due to the pandemic and the effects that linger throughout the world, helping to spread the inspirational stories of the quiet heroes behind the scenes and their missions to make a better society for all of us, our children and future generations.  Celebrities and charities that will be featured in new episodes of the series will be announced shortly.

Created by Gary Reeves, “Give” won the 2017 Daytime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Children’s or Family Viewing Series. The series joins OWN’s daytime programming lineup which currently includes the recently acquired “Tamron Hall Show,” “Dr. Phil” and other popular off-network series.  Executive Producers are Blair Underwood for Blair Underwood Presents, Gary Reeves for Seveer Media Group, and Kevin Hart for Hartbeat Productions.

Robert Blagman and Lauren Hirsch-Williams of Global Media Fusion agree that “’Give’ is so needed in the world today, and we are working hard to have the series airing on TV screens throughout the world in 2021.”
