The Feb. 21 airing of TELESCOPE on Science Channel pushed the network to its most watched Sunday Primetime audience ever in Total Viewers P2+ (621,000)  in L+3. TELESCOPE grabbed 703,000 viewers P2+ at 9PM while the 8PM and 10PM airings of the network’s popular series, What on Earth?, had 579,000 Total Viewers P2+ during each hour.

Viewership among all key demo ratings during Primetime on Sunday were up double digits vs. Science Channel’s 2016 year to date Prime Time averages, including Total Viewers P2+ (+68%) Persons 25-54 (+65%), Men 25-54 (+69%), Women 25-54 (+59%), Persons 18-49 (+42%), Men 18-49 (+39%) and Women 18-49 (+47%).

TELESCOPE, directed by Oscar(R)-nominated filmmaker Nathaniel Kahn ("My Architect, "Two Hands",) is a dynamic journey behind the scenes of the next step in the evolution of telescopes: NASA's James Webb Space Telescope. A new generation has been inspired to design and build this massive instrument, which is 100 times more powerful than the Hubble Space Telescope and will be a veritable time machine, capable of looking back on the origins of our universe and identifying signatures of potential life on planets far outside our solar system.
