Join Science Channel on Super Tuesday for “Super Tuesday on Science” with space themed programming that will include the season finale of WHAT ON EARTH?, an all-new episode of NASA’S UNEXPLAINED FILES and ONE YEAR IN SPACE which explores the science behind Scott Kelly’s year-long adventure in space; Science Channel will also break into programming at 11:27PM with live coverage of Kelly’s return to earth from space.

Programming for Science Channel’s “Super Tuesday on Science” on March 1 will include: 

  • 9PM – WHAT ON EARTH?  (Season finale) Hidden Tomb of Genghis Khan: A strange structure is found in the heartlands of Mongolia. Is it the lost tomb of Genghis Khan? Bizarre rings in Spain could lead to the lost city of Atlantis. A huge floating island is on a collision course with New Zealand. Just what on earth are they?
  • 10PM – NASA’S UNEXPLAINED FILES (All-new episode) Return of the Moon Bugs: Apollo 12 astronauts bring back something alive from the moon and NASA track an asteroid heading towards Earth but make a shocking discovery: it’s not an asteroid, but an object that’s artificial in nature.
  • 11PM – ONE YEAR IN SPACE Scott Kelly Returns: What does it take to return an astronaut to earth? We go inside the science behind astronaut Scott Kelly’s year in space. 
  • 11:27PM – ONE YEAR IN SPACE LIVE - Space Landing LIVE COVERAGE from Science Channel: Watch live as astronaut Scott Kelly returns to earth after a year on the International Space Station.
