As part of Nature's Fury season on Discovery World, ‘Nature's Power Revealed' is a new and fascinating 3-part series which looks at the natural forms of destruction which take place on planet Earth. Through Earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and extreme floods, the series observes the cause of these extremes, the deadly energy that is released and the extraordinarily beautiful and dramatic landscapes that are created as a result. Highlights of the series observe the Power of Fire, exploring the infamous volcanic eruption which occurred in Pompeii and it's effect on life at the time; Water and how it shapes and re-shapes the world around us, renewing and replenishing even as it destroys; and the Atmosphere looking at the effects of tornados, lightning storms, and the winds that can devastate human life and our landscape.
